I Was Waiting For You to Graduate Before I Pay Your Bride Price – Nigerian Gospel Singer’s Alleged Fiancé Cries Out After He Invested In Her Career And Got Dumped
Taking to Facebook on Monday, August 28, 2023, Favour narrated how he met Amaka through her local church choir and they dated for three years.
A Nigerian man, Mr. Favour Ibex has taken to Facebook to call out his alleged fiancee, gospel singer, Amaka Gift.
He accused her of dumping him for another man after he allegedly sponsored and invested in her career for nine years.
Taking to Facebook on Monday, August 28, 2023, Favour, who owns a broadcasting and media firm, narrated how he met Amaka through her local church choir and they dated for three years before he ‘’introduced her to music in 2017. ‘’
According to Mr. Ibex, he is betrothed to Amaka and they have taken blessings from their families but they decided to keep the relationship private so it wouldn’t affect her gospel career and education.
“My only offence was that I was respecting God so I never took carnal knowledge of her, I was waiting for her to graduate from school before I perform her traditional rites,” he stated.
Favour narrated how he created all the social media accounts for Amaka, promoted them, and saw to their growth. He claimed he shot every single video and made all posts on the pages he supposedly created.
He further claimed that he spent money on ‘’newspapers, radio stations, printing CDs, branding outfits, and hosting concerts with billboards and posters. Carrying out Charity activities, paying and setting up rehearsals to promote Amaka.‘’
Favour claimed that he furnished her apartment with properties and gadgets and set up a studio at her apartment for her to perform well without stress both in music and her academics.
However, trouble started after he introduced Amaka to one Maxy Michael for a collaboration.
According to Favour, he began to see videos and pictures of Amaka and Maxy in compromising positions.
He said when he confronted Amaka, she admitted to being in a relationship with Maxy.
He said Amaka tried to change the passwords of her social media platforms in order to cut him out so he had to pull down the pages.
