Lawless DSS Again! What A Show of Shame – Sowore Reacts to Fight Between DSS And Prisons Over Emefiele
Rights activist Omoyele Sowore has fumed over the show of shame displayed today by the Department State Services at the Federal High Court in Lagos.
This followed disagreement it had with officials of the Nigerian Correctional Service over who should have Godwin Emefiele in custody.
The two agencies were seen fighting in broad daylight.
Sowore took to his Twitter page to react.
He wrote: “The lawless DSS again! What a show of shame! When the DSS abducted me in court in front of Abuja Federal High Court Judge in 2019, then @cenbank Gov. @GodwinIEmefiele sent a fellow to me that I haven’t seen anything yet.
“The fellow opened up to me that my plight was being managed and funded between Emefiele, Isa Funtua and @MBuhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari. Today, the DSS is disgracing itself publicly as a lawless organization.”
