Peter Obi Congratulates Other Diana Award Winners
Peter Obi had earlier congratulated a Diana Award winner Ms Onyinye Omenugha on his twitter page with the following message:
I congratulate and rejoice with Miss Onyinye Omenugha @OOmenugha, a 24-year-old Nigerian who just won the prestigious Diana Award, usually conferred on outstanding young persons in the United Kingdom, and around the globe.

He was however confronted by a Nigerian @official_isaaco on why he would only congratulate a Nigerian of Igbo origin when there were other Nigerians that won the same prestigious award.
He then recanted and congratulated all the Nigerians awarded the Diana Award.
My attention has been drawn to other young Nigerian change-makers who were equally 2023 Diana Awards recipients and who I inadvertently omitted when I congratulated Miss Onyinye Omenugha. They are Favour Abatang, Oladotun Ajayi, Olalekan Ajayi, Regina Ateb, Abdulhammed Babatunde, Yusuf Babatunde, Blossom Egbude, Chiamaka Juliet Osueke, Joel Mordi, Covenant Odedele, Joy Offere, Melody Okereke, Iyiola Oladunjoye, Oluwatomi Olunuga.
I have always expressed my belief in Nigerian youths to attain great heights and make. impacts on the global stage. I congratulate these young smart Nigerians for the feats they have achieved, and for bringing honour to the nation. I wish them well in their future endeavours an
d urge them to continue to contribute to a better Nigeria. -PO
