“What is the hope of a common man in this nation? – Onitsha trader laments as he accuses police of releasing suspect who stabbed him after allegedly collecting bribe (photos)
An Onitsha trader, Promise Kachi, has accused Nigerian police of releasing one of the suspects who was arrested for allegedly stabbing him.
Sharing photos and a video of himself via X on Thursday, November 23, 2023, Kachi alleged that the police released the culprit from custody after collecting a bribe.
“I’m pained, My family is in agony, I’m shattered right now. What is the hope of a common man in this nation? I was stabbed,one of the culprits was caught and remanded in custody but Nigerian Police force collected bribe and released the culprit at my back,” he lamented.
“If anything happens to me and my family, let Nigerian Police force be held accountable for it,”
