The University of Memphis (UofM) provides internationally accepted students with F-1 visas who are enrolled in on-campus courses and pursuing a degree with attractive merit-based scholarships. We place a strong emphasis on academic achievement and intellectual achievement, and we want to draw the best and the brightest students to enroll in our state-of-the-art courses and learn from our distinguished professors.
Please be informed that this grant is not available to candidates who are dual citizens or permanent residents. This scholarship is only available to new applicants. Students enrolled in classes right now are not eligible for this scholarship. The NCAA’s rules must be followed by student-athletes.

Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for the University of Memphis, USA 2023–24 International Merit Scholarship, all applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below:
Students must fit the following requirements to be eligible for undergraduate scholarships:
- 1200 SAT or 25 ACT points
- A credential evaluation company (www.naces.org) determined that a 3.25 U.S. equivalent undergraduate degree GPA was required.
Students who want graduate scholarships must fit the following requirements:
- 310 GRE, or a similar score on another exam
- 3.25 U.S. equivalent undergraduate grade point average, as verified by a credential evaluation organization (www.naces.org), or a pertinent master’s degree from an established and recognized school
