We are happy to announce the establishment of the Presidential Fellows Programme, an exclusive scholarship opportunity, in keeping with the history of great academic quality.
For entering first-year students in all academic fields at Miami University’s Oxford campus, the Presidential Fellows Programme is the institution’s best scholarship opportunity. We’re excited to welcome up to fifteen of the most talented and deserving students to our inaugural class of Presidential Fellows this year.
Scholarships at Miami University are quite competitive. The quality of the application pool affects the academic requirements deciding scholarship grants. An academic grant was made available to 79% of first-year international students who were admitted for Fall 2021.

Who Qualifies For The Presidential Fellows Programme at Miami University?

What is the procedure for selection?
Based on their entire application for admission and their response to the extra essay, students will be evaluated. The Presidential Fellows Programme Scholarship Showcase will be held on campus, and finalists will be invited there. Scholarship awardees will be chosen based on their performance in this competition.

What Are The Advantages Of The Presidential Fellows Programme At Miami University?
- If you maintain a 3.50 cumulative grade point average each year, the Miami University Presidential Fellows Programme Scholarship package will pay your tuition and expenses for eight semesters. All instructional, non-resident surcharge, basic general, Miami Metro, technology, facilities, Armstrong Student Centre, matriculation, career development, and course costs are included in the total cost of attendance (tuition and fees).
- Your Presidential Fellows Programme Scholarship package does not include funding for orientation, pre-enrollment or pre-admission testing fees, health insurance, health centre fees, pharmacy costs, books, computers, supplies, or other essentials. Other optional costs like MUlaa accounts, parking permits, parking fees, library fines, air conditioner rentals, and cell/phone rates will also go unpaid.
- This is not a comprehensive list, and Miami University has the right to decide which fees the Presidential Fellows Programme Scholarship will cover.

How Do I Apply For The Presidential Fellows Programme at Miami University?
Apply to Miami University by submitting the Common Application by December 1 at 11:59 p.m., followed by the Honours Programmes Application, to be considered. You must submit a supplemental essay together with a statement of interest for the Presidential Fellows Programme, Miami’s Honours College, or the Prodesse Scholars Programme.
